The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic presents unforeseen problems that will affect everyone globally and it’s difficult for anyone to know how the next few months will play out.

earthware’s goal is: “To solve real world healthcare problems. Digitally.” Right now, it is more important than ever that we stay true to this goal. Here’s what we will be doing to support our people and our clients over the coming weeks and months:

• From Monday 16th March we have recommended to all our people that by default they work from home. Everyone in earthware is setup to complete every aspect of their role remotely. We have been operating remote working practices for nearly a decade, so we do not foresee any impact on our ability to deliver projects. You will be able to continue to reach our team as our phone lines are routed to individuals via the internet. Should your Account Manager become unavailable, we will immediately be in contact to let you know who to contact in their absence.

• We have instructed our teams to avoid any non-essential travel. All our usual meetings and workshops can be run remotely. We ask that you convert any planned face to face meetings with earthware to remote meetings. We are happy to assist you in setting up a remote meeting if required as our teams have lots of experience with Microsoft Teams (our preferred platform), Skype, Google Hangouts and Zoom.

• We recognise that most of our clients are moving to remote working and for some this is a new and unknown way of conducting business. We are offering all of our clients pro-bono advice on making remote working work. Please let us know if you’d like to discuss this further. We have also written a blog on this topic recently that you may find useful.

• We understand that access to customers through traditional face to face means is going to be extremely difficult for our pharma clients over the coming months. In some cases, this may mean converting planned activities to digital or finding new ways to communicate with/deliver services to healthcare professionals. If you would like us to run a free, remote workshop with you to explore how you might be able to utilise digital channels to support your business, please let us know.

We are here to support you however we can. If you have any questions, no matter how trivial they may seem, please get in touch.
