Today we are launching a new series of video tutorials showing you how to process large datasets for one of our favourite tools here at Earthware, MapBox Studio

MapBox Studio is a great tool for creating your own web maps including complete control over the look and feel of every aspect of your map's styling. Out of the box it allows you to customize worldwide OpenStreetMap data provided by Mapbox but there is nothing stopping you creating maps from scratch using your own data sources.

In this series we will show you how to load and style a large dataset whilst maintaining performance by using a PostgreSQL/PostGIS database to store the data and plugging this into MapBox Studio. We will be using some sample data for the soon to be launched Ordnance Survey OpenMap UK opendata mapping product.

So lets get started with the first two tutorials:

Step 1 Installation

Step 2 Import into PostgreSQL
